The GBS team successfully engineered over 30 signal upgrades in markets such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City.
Prior to forming GBS, Peter Handy and his team spent much of the last 15 years upgrading radio stations from isolated locations to major markets by restructuring the radio spectrum and working with FCC regulations and rulemaking petitions.
Working with engineers skilled in the “Spectrum Art” required to implement upgrades of stations from small markets to larger markets, the GBS team successfully engineered over 30 signal improvements in markets such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City.
This experience in the radio business and with booster technology provided the knowledge and capability to develop, test and launch ZoneCasting with a clear understanding of its potential for growing radio revenues.
ZoneCasting is the first-to-market product to deliver geo-targeted commercials in zones for radio. Pending FCC approvals, ZoneCasting will be available to FM radio broadcasters where they can combine radio frequency, cell tower and wireless technology to temporarily and simultaneously segment their main broadcast signal into defined geographic zones. These zones are the tool broadcasters will use to sell advertisers a marketing campaign within key zones at reduced prices, maximizing the revenue in multiple zones.
