To date, we have focused primarily on development of the ZoneCasting system in the United States. We are currently in the early stages of gathering information on the viability of implementation of the ZoneCasting system in Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, India, South Africa, Russia, Asia and Australia/New Zealand. The radio stations in many of these locales have less regulation and immediate need revenue development in large geographic areas. Further, international advertisers understand and actively use hyper-targeted campaigns. ZoneCasting makes sense and provides obvious benefits for these advertisers. The GBS team will pursue potential international expansion of the ZoneCasting system.
To protect the proprietary nature of the concept, GBS filed for an International Patent Application # PCT/US 10/ 48311 – Equipment, System and Methodologies for segmentation of listening area into sub-areas enabling delivery of localized auxiliary information (filed on September 10, 2010)
