GeoBroadcast Solutions Names Octave Communications
As Authorized Partner in Canada
Industry leading engineering consulting firm will now provide local sales and services for GeoBroadcast MaxxCasting™ coverage enhancement solutions
Henderson, NV, January 19, 2022 – GeoBroadcast Solutions has formed an exclusive partnership with Octave Communications in Quebec, Canada to bring GBS’s unique MaxxCasting™ solutions and associated sales, field service and post-sales support to Canadian broadcasters seeking to improve their signal strength and audience reach. Octave and GeoBroadcast have had a long, collaborative relationship in the U.S. based around Octave’s market leading Nomad HDR/FM Analyzer™, which is a key tool supporting the implementation of its MaxxCasting system.
Octave is a respected Canadian engineering consulting firm specializing in radio broadcasting, telecommunications and RF analysis measurement software and has worked with GBS on U.S.-based projects. GBS’ MaxxCasting combines radio and cellular technology and enables FM Broadcasters using multiple nodes to enhance their signals by reducing interference between the main and booster transmissions through the use of a cluster of low-to-the-ground, high power, highly directionalized, synchronized node sites.
The Octave team had been working closely with the GeoBroadcast technologists for training and certification to support local implementation of MaxxCasting.
